Here are some start-up suggestions:

Easy Egg

Ingredients
a 'knob' of Butter
1 or 2 Eggs

Preparation
Put 'knob' at bottom of pot
Break egg(s) on top
Pepper and Salt
Why not a few herbs (Parsley or chives).

'Popeye' Egg

Ingredients
a 'knob' of Butter
1 egg
Approx. 10 grams of cooked spinach (frozen or tinned)
Teaspoon cream

Preparation
Put 'knob' at bottom of pot
Add spinach with spoonful of cream
Break egg on top
Pepper and Salt

Cheesy Egg

Ingredients
a 'knob' of Butter
1 egg
Approx.10 grams grated hard cheese

Preparation
Put 'knob' at bottom of pot
Break egg on top
Add cheese
Pepper and Salt

The combinations are infinite i.e. chopped ham, chicken, onions, mushrooms, bacon etc. etc.  Just a word of advice; some ingredients (i.e. fresh mushrooms) benefit from a pre-microwave in the butter for a few seconds just to soften.

It's easy, practical and very elegant…...
